MODENA E MARANELLO:
(full day trip)

Departure from the hotel by private coach (time to be determined). Arrival in Modena and start to the guided tour of the city centre. The city’s Cathedral, Piazza Grande and Torre Ghirlandina have been inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. The Cathedral is one of the greatest masterpieces of Romanesque architecture in Europe. Construction on Palazzo Comunale, instead, began in the Middle Ages and continued across several historical phases. Close to Torre Ghirlandina you can admire the seventeenth-century Palazzo Ducale, currently seat of the prestigious Military Academy. Possibility of visiting the stunning MEF-Enzo Ferrari Museum, dedicated to Enzo Ferrari and motor sport. At lunch you will have some free time to roam around the city centre, then we will reach Maranello where you can visit the Ferrari Museum founded by the famous car manufacturer in 1947. Here you can admire Ferrari’s historical cars, trophies and much more besides. On the way back, you can choose to visit and sample the products of a local producer of traditional balsamic vinegar from Modena since 1850. Return to Piacenza in the evening.
